- In my opinion, bullying is not only the kid’s fault, it’s also the way the parents have raised him/her. When kids bully, it’s mostly because they feel insecure about themselves, and to get over it they try to make others feel the same way.
- Bullying is
the worst thing a human can do to a person. Usually people look down on someone
who is completely different from them. They don’t understand that being
different is an important advantage. We are all born different, so that makes
bullying unnecessary! However, the people who bully need to be punished so as
to understand their awful mistake, to actually feel the pain they cause to
others.
- It is an
undeniable fact that an increasing number of children gets bullied everyday at
school. This fact is very stressful and may cause many mental problems to the
victim, such as depression, anxiety and a constant sense of fear. All forms of
bullying need immediate action.
- Bullying
comes in many forms, like verbal, physical, cyberbullying etc. All forms can
cause serious problems not only to the person who is bullied but also to the
people around him / her. Although most bullies are people with psychological
issues themselves, there’s no excuse for turning their insecurities into
bullying innocent victims.
- It is clear
that no one in this world is born a bully, something triggers it. Sometimes
it’s a family that neglects a child, not setting the right boundaries. If the
parents don’t pay attention to the child, it is inevitable that he/ she will
turn out to be a person that doesn’t care about anyone’s emotions or feelings.
Another factor is the friendships someone makes in their teen years. Sometimes
a person tries to impress his / her friends by doing something extreme, without
realizing the consequences.
- Bullying is a serious issue that affects many people and it is important to have a realistic opinion about it. Bullying happens when someone repeatedly hurts, threatens or picks on another person on purpose. It’s not just a part of growing up, it’s a harmful behaviour that can have long-lasting effects. My feelings on bullying are very negative. The fact that there are people whose only purpose is to ruin another person’s day is sickening! I feel very bad when I see someone getting bullied, because I know I cannot do anything about it. If I stand up for them, the bully will turn his rage on me.
- I myself used
to be a victim of bullying when I was younger. Fortunately not physical, just
verbal. Other students would make fun of me and curse me for no particular
reason. It really affected me but at the same time it made me stronger. From
then on, whenever someone tries to make me feel bad about myself, I just ignore
them.
- I have never
been bullied personally, but that doesn’t mean that I am not sensitive about
it. Bullies are kids with a bunch of insecurities regarding themselves and they
are searching for acceptance from others to feel confident. By making others
feel useless or unwanted, they feel like they can control their emotions,
depending on their personal mood. As I see it, bullying may not be considered a
crime, but it should be. Bullies may not destroy or steal something, but they
cause emotional damages, which is worse, and it should be faced like a crime.
- For me, bullying is when someone is being hurt
by actions and words on purpose. Basically, they are victims of hatred. The
people that are bullied can develop loneliness depression, anxiety and most
importantly, even have suicidal thoughts.
- Bullying is very serious and no one should
avoid this big social issue. Avoiding people who are being bullied, in a way,
makes you a bully.
- The acceptance of bullying is indefensible when
considering the profound harm it inflicts on the victims. By declaring bullying
as unacceptable, we take a decisive step towards creating a world in which kindness,
understanding and compassion prevail and where individuals can contribute
positively to the wellbeing of our society.
- When someone is being bullied, it may not
always be obvious. A few signs may be losing their belongings under unknown
circumstances, having cuts or bruises, losing their appetite and not wanting to
go to school. In that case, a parent must worry about their child and
investigate the symptoms by talking to the child or to the teacher.
- But what should people who are bullied or who
see someone being bullied do? At first, the ones who get bullied need to speak
up and get help from friends and family. They shouldn’t be afraid of their
bullies’ threats but they should stand up for themselves and try to fight back.
As for the ones who see someone get bullied, they have to stand up for the
victim and take them away from the bullies. Also, they could try to inform
someone about the situation such as a teacher or a parent in order to find a
solution to the problem.
